Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris are facing alarming allegations on social media, with numerous women coming forward to accuse them of sexual assault, targeting underage girls, and forcing women to take mind-altering drugs.
T.I. previously courted controversy by boasting about controlling his teenage daughter's sex life, saying that he made her go to the doctor for "virginity tests" on a yearly basis.
These new allegations came to light after an Atlanta entrepreneur named Sabrina Peterson accused T.I. via Instagram of putting a gun to her head in front of children. In her caption, she wrote, "The sad part about being a woman & BEING A BLACK WOMAN IS THIS! The public PRAISES OUR PREDATORS!"
After asking other alleged victims to come forward, Peterson began to share their stories on Instagram. More than 15 women have come forward so far, sharing similar allegations involving T.I. and Tiny forcing them to take drugs and engage in sex acts against their will. Some of the allegations involve underage girls, and the similarity in these stories suggests a pattern of abuse where T.I. and Tiny used fame, drugs, and intimidation to coerce young women into dangerous situations.
T.I. hasn't publicly responded to the allegations, but Tiny struck back in the comments section of The Shade Room's Instagram account:
Replying to Peterson's initial allegation, Tiny wrote, "Stop Harassing My Family," and shared some disparaging comments about Peterson's personal life. However, this was two days ago, before most of the other allegations came to light.
The sexual assault accusations are now going viral on social media, and on Thursday, Peterson said, "We are moving forward with civil legal action & awareness."
