'Our job to step in': Hospitals take on COVID-19 patients from other overwhelmed regions

Under Ontario’s COVID-19 Incident Management System, more than 500 patients have been transferred from hospitals hitting overcapacity to hospitals with the space to take them in. It is an enormously complex undertaking that has not only helped patients, but also bring more coordination to the province’s health care system.
